What is synthetic air?

At standard pressure and temperature conditions, air is a colourless, odourless and tasteless gas. It is a mixture of 21% oxygen and 79% nitrogen, manufactured in two ways: through a compressor or produced synthetically.

In healthcare, air is mostly used to treat respiratory illnesses and it requires a medical prescription.

Some of its applications include:

Ventilators.
Induction of anaesthesia.
Resuscitation operations.
As a vector for inhalators.
