Gases for agriculture
Fertiliser gases to improve crop yield
OXIGEN salud supplies carbon dioxide (CO2) for agriculture. This gas helps improve crop yield:
- Carbon dioxide enrichment: when CO2 is applied to the air surrounding the plant.
- Carbon fertigation: when CO2 is injected into the irrigation system.
These methods can be used individually or in combination depending on crop characteristics: plant variety, farming technique, closed greenhouse or open field, etc.
Equipment offered by OXIGEN salud includes:
- Storing equipment that ensures the supply of CO2 to the infrastructure.
- Gasification units that provide a suitable flow of CO2 based on demand.
- Control panel to regulate supply pressure and necessary flow in each farming area.
- Injection and distribution equipment. In fertigation, CO2 is injected to enrich the water supplied by the existing irrigation system.
The benefits of using gases for agriculture are:
- Faster growth.
- Better quality.
- Less fungal diseases.
- Higher seedling performance.
- Faster root growth.
- Increased flowering.
